I have beautiful oak cabinets throughout my new home, but the builder only put on a light coat of satin finish on them. The finish seems to be getting ruined in places where water might drip occasionally such as arount the sinks, but also just from routine wiping down. What can I do to keep my cabinets looking new and protected? Coats of polyeurethane maybe?
