I have had my Neptune for a little more than 2 years. I called once to complain about the mold not long after I bought it. I was told that they wouldn't even come out for that complaint. I tried the "remedy" of cleaning the gasket with bleach and running an empty load with a lot of bleach. It did not help at all. I try to use a small amount of bleach in any load I can to keep the smell down. My sister sprays her gasket with Lysol after last load of a wash day. She caught the problem sooner than I did, so hers is not as bad. I would certainly want to be included in any action brought against Maytag. I will never buy another Maytag!
