Getting paint (latex) off leather seat of car

Green paint seeped out of a new paint can, when I left it on the back seat in the heat...never happened before...most of it peeled off by hand, but a lot of green stain remain...someone suggested baby oil as treatment...what do you folks say?...Sad in San Diego
