balloon framing repair

So,if @ some point in the past, some smart folks cut 6 of the 7 king studs in the first floor of my east wall (to replace the orignal windows w/ jalosies), and followed the same butcher-like pattern thru out the first floor of the two story structure, I can sleep soundly at night, not worrying about my house racking to the south and west? I'm not going to mention the foundation settlement that the local Florida terra firma has seemed to have offered free of charge, nor the undetected previous activity of subterranean termites that seemed to have destroyed the rim joist to the bathroom and kitchen north and east walls that connect to the two story south and east wall girders.
Bob, would mind explaining to folks the difference in an invasive and non-invasive home and termite inspection?
