I have been answering some emails, one at a time, and can sympathize with all of you!!! I have been removing 4 layers of wallpaper from a 1947 structure, using only Hot water in a spray bottle, and it works, only it takes more than one or two applications - but I just found that Fabric Softener and Water, ina spray bottle, but I don't know the proportions - works better than toxic commercial products - it doesn't have to be DOWNY - it can be some cheap store brand - it's 'safe' and it smells good, and you don't have to throw open all the windows - what can it hurt to give it a go!!!

I know of a Professional decorator, that won't use anything else....it's cheap to give it a try, the room will smell good - and I'm thinking if chemicals don't work, why not give Fabric Softener a try ??

I hope this helps someone - and if it does, pass on the info!!!
