Two weeks ago, my bathroom toilet overflowed into my kitchen ceiling (the toilet is directly under my kitchen). I had the toilet repaired. Now I have a big hole in the kitchen ceiling. Five years ago, I had the kitchen remodeled and the contractor drywall the ceiling over a drop ceiling. I was told that the best way to repair the hole is to plaster it. My question is should I have the ceiling drywall or plaster?
