More ? on covering enclosed cedar deck floor with carpeting or laminate wood flooring???

Chicago, IL Area(Temp. range below 0 in the winter to upper 90's and humid in the summer.)-- I have an enclosed cedar deck, 12by12 (screen and windows), not heated, 2by6 cedar board deck floor. Deck is about one and a half feet above the ground(???Is the height a good thing to stop moisture problems?); Ground soil below deck is covered by landscaping paper. The deck also has a solid cedar skirt (2inch by 8inch boards spaced 1/4 inch apart) enclosing the area below the deck pretty well,(???Is this sufficient to stop most air movement, to avoid moisture problems?). The big question is: Do they make and where do I get 1/4 inch green treated plywood to put over the cedar boards (??? Or should I just use 1/2 inch green treated plywood) -then I want to put padding and carpeting over the plywood without causing any problems down the road with moisture, dampness, and/or rotting out the cedar deck planks? Additional question: If I put down 6 mil plastic vapor barrier over the cedar deck boards, will it cause the cedar deck boards to rot faster over time, or damage the cedar deck boards in any way? Can I put down a wood laminant floor over the 1/4 inch and/or 1/2 inch green treated plywood sub-flooring, (instead of carpet), such as Pergo, or Witex LocTec, etc.? *** In general, will the cedar deck boards be potentially damaged in any way by being covered up and not able to "breath" if they get moisture in them from the ground below? Or, because it is cedar, will the deck boards in this application be more durable and be able to stand up to the elements better? What else can you suggest? P.S. Thank's to Daniel E. Fall for your previous response. (I tuned up my original question a bit.)
