I applied a stripper (PeelAway 1) to a hardwood baseboard and it has come up very dark. After reading the directions (oops - wrong order!) I notice that the product says it will darken hardwood and there is an alternative to use. Is there a way to reverse the darkening to return it to the lighter oak it should be so that I can use the correct product on the rest of the baseboards and have them match?
