Hello Everyone.

Like many, I too wish to build a home with cinder blocks. As with any project; comes Pros & Cons. Much of what I've read as hindrance, is the evidence of mold build up. However, there are many products out on the market today that have overcome this issue. In fact, one can fill the cinder block void with cement or pour a liquid form of insulation. You can then wash the exterior walls with vinegar and a brush, then paint roll an insulator/primer. After this, you can nail insulation panel or spray (like plaster)insulation onto the walls. I myself am doing this to a home that will have a stucco finish. It’s economical, a quick process, and very energy efficient.

Thanks,

Herman...
