This is not so much an energy saving tip, but anyone inerested in lowering energy costs in the future might consider the following:
A device that produces electricity for free would likely be regulated to extremes. If you hear of an inventor of such a device in need of aid, please try to help (sign petitions, write your government official, etc.). Don't make any "investments" though, there is a long history of scams in this area.
