I am designing a garage, and against advice I am sloping the driveway toward the garage door. I am actually putting the slab below grade by 24", which creates a 1/10 slope. But I've seen this done where a trench drain with grate is used. Can anyone tell me their experience with driveway drains in the case of a slope towards the garage door? Is this a really bad idea, or just a bad idea??
