I have been in the releveling business since 1985. I suggest you use a professional for two reasons. One, the safety factor. It can be dangerous. And two, there are too many variables in regards to releveling a mobile home. Some relevel jobs are very simple, and some just look simple and involve quite a lot of work. Each and every mobile possesses a different approach to releveling it. However, the basic tools/supplies needed are: 12 ton jack/handle, water level, hammer, flash light, knee pads, gloves, dust mask, coveralls, wedges, 2x8x16 DF pads, 1x8x16 cedar pads, 4x8x16 solid cement blocks, 8x8x16 utility blocks, and 2x12x24 or 30" Treated Pads. You should also have the washing machine ready for your stinky clothes that have ground into them the urine and feces of every animal known to mankind. While you are under the mobile in total darkness you should prepare yourself for the prospect of facing snakes, spiders, raccoons, skunks, cats, etc… Not to mention crawling around in insulation. The itching doesn’t stop for about two days. Again, I suggest you hire someone with experience. It could save you time and money.
