Driveway Maintenance

Posted by Dan on September 17th, 2003 07:55 AM

Is there a way to undue this mistake? Background: we had a contractor haul in stones for our driveway. We ordered too many stones for the amount of driveway we have. Even worse, the stones we ordered were too big, so that traction is an issue. When winter comes, I can only imagine the problems we will then have.
Would like a solution that does not involve removing the stones and starting over! Casual advisors have suggested materials that we might add to the stones to make them more "adherent" to one another and thus get rid of the lack of traction problem.
Anxious to read solutions that others have to offer.
Thanks!
