I live in a neighborhood with creeks running through it, but they are being taken over with bamboo. I have contacted three companies regarding eradicating the bamboo. They have suggested cutting it to the ground and treating with RoundUp. Haven't had the work completed and have neighbors concerned about using the RoundUp around other creek vegetation. I keep hearing about the pros and cons of RoundUp - not sure if it is worth paying to have it sprayed.
