You used drain rock for a driveway. Your supplier should have known better, and advised you. There is a product called road base that contains a high percentage of fines (often lime) with rock between 1/2 and 3/4 inches in diameter. This material locks into place and provides almost a pavement like surface. The down-side is that applying this over your existing stone will cost additional money. I am sure you can find limestone roadbase in your area. Using this will provide a well drained firm drive that will not move. It can be plowed after it has packed in too, something you won't be able to do with the drain rock you bought.
