If the cracks run in a straight line, they are those paper joints that are designed to crack in a given line, rather than haphazardly.

The concrete shouldn't settle too much after a few months. If it does, the soil wasn't prepared properly (tamped) prior to the pour.

I have never seen a 3000 foot slab without cracks.
