thank you for your advice henry..i have an old house built in the mid 1800. I tore the floor out in the dining room and underneath what i thought was the subfloor was another floor covered with old lenolium..still is pretty good condition i just dont like the color but maybe ill just use rugs for the time being. thanks again...deb
