what happened was when you replaced your gears it threw your up and down limit off, cause you did not put your chain back on in the same postion it was in when you took it off. for example maybe when you took it off your opner was in the up postion there for when you put your chain back on you put it in the postion wher your door would be opened halfway open and not fully open.
