Log Home Stucco Between Logs

I have purchased a log home and presently there is carsiding (brown) between the ceiling logs ..throughout the 4 bedroom home.

Too much brown for me and I'm looking for alternatives that would save the nice appearance of the logs, but enhance, rather than diminish in looks.

I have been thinking of late of stucco in between the logs and perhaps a texture look (small pebble; salt and pepper; popcorn).

I haven't seen this done anywhere. Any thoughts to application or end appearance to this idea?
