I hope you bought the genarator just for lightng thats about all the power you have at the genarator. If you were to buy one that will run a fridge and furnace for ex: these would be the type they use at construction sites. You could put it far enough from the house or dowm wind that the fumes would not get in a opened window in which a cord would be run to the generator
