Yes, it is season proof. We are talking about the same stuff they make boats out of, and tubs and showers. This stuff will be hosting the cockroaches long after we have blown ourselves up. My boat has a 1973 fiberglass hull and it will probably go on near forever. Hardly anything is more impervious to everything than fiberglass. Rubber has been used for a long time but it aint cheap, breaks down with UV and can easily be holed. I would use fiberglass, but I understand peoples' reluctance since it isn't commonly used, etc. Just putting it out there.
