But it's really a "kludge".
Autobody fiberglass kits can be used. you get fiberglass mat, resin and hardener. It only comes off stuff while it's wet and you have to use laquer thinner.
you would have to probably fill in the void once it's installed with some sort of expanding foam insulation because the repair won't be as strong as the original.
it can be sanded etc. You would have to find some color to add to the hardener though, otherwise it dries to a light greenish tinge. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
