Heather - clean the walls with methyl hydrate (alcohol)

Prime with one coat of Glidden Ultra-Hide Gripper - let sit 1 week.

Apply "liner" wallpaper to this - make sure the seams aren't on a groove or seam of the panelling.

Make sure you hang this butting the seams - don't overlap.

Let this dry about 3 days. Come back and caulk the seams with latex caulk - a really thin bead will do - just run your finger down to rub it in.

Prime again with Glidden Ultra-Hide Gripper - then two coats of you color choice Glidden Ultra-Hide/Evermore/ or Ralph Lauren Eggshell.
