Well, if you are using "pavers" that are all exactly the same thickness, then just follow my previous instructions. If the base is compacted and smooth then your installation will be. You can use a screed of some sort to smooth and level your aggregates between compacting. I can't type enough to detail exactly what kinds of screeds and guides to use - research it on google. Flat base compacted, then just thin loose sand, then place pavers and tap once or twice with rubber mallet and be sure to button edges with a real edge or the whole thing will come apart later.
