I agree with Ron this is a job left to the pro's. However, there was a very good article a few months ago in The Family Handyman Magazine. Check it out. Also a possibility check out Fine Home Building. You also have the option of a shower pan made of Corian or Swanstone. Another possibility is cultured marble.
