we understand the concerns on the loads, and you hit the nail on the head when you said we intuitively felt that plywood and light boxes would hold (after having walked around up there (very carefully)). We also know the 2X4s aren't joists. What professional should we call to assess the capabilities? There's no yellow page listing for truss examiners (although there ARE trust examiners).
