I'm looking for the same information. However,
went online and found a faq HomeRepairForum.com.
Some of the people who have painted fireplaces
have pictures, and some ideas. Also found a
company named brick-anew.com that sells a kit
for paint fireplace along with pictures. They
look great. Kind of expensive, but you get what
you pay for. I have not personally tried this
kit, but I'm looking into it. Hope this helps.
