In a 14' x 13' room, I have 2 strips of wet ceiling from a roof that leaked while under construction. The strips are along the studs and are about 5" wide by 9'long. This just happened two nights ago. My question is: do I need to have the roofer's insurance company remove the drywall or can they just put stain blocker on the spots once they are dry and paint over it? We have already removed the wet insulation from the attic. Please advise.
