we're putting in tile flooring over plywood subsurface. we plan on putting down cement board over plywood then tiling. have seen suggestions that we have to put mortar between the plywood and cement(hardiboard)board. Do we have to mortar or could we use construction adhesive between the layers - then screw together securly. Adhesive easier to use for us. What od you think? Thanks
