Furnace won't come on.

My furnace will not come on. The a/c works fine, but when i try to turn on the furnace, i get nothing. This problem happened occasionally last winter. So, I tried to run it early this year, just in case it is still happening and i need to call for help. I have not replaced anything yet. As I said, the a/c works fine in auto mode. My thermostat has 2 switches. One auto/fan and the other cool/off/and heat. I have checked all the breakers and switches. Usually it would take 1-2 minutes to come on, but i have waited up to 10 minutes with no result. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
