Whoever installed the laminate flooring didnt leave enoough room for expansion, so whenever I open the windows to get fresh air, the part in the entranceway buckles up. Someone told me to cut it there, but being the entrance way, it looks bad, not to mention the high trafic will mark up the cover piece. My question is: Is it practical to cut the other side of the room 25 ft away and stop it from buckling here?
