Do you have plastic covering all the earth? Do you live in a wet climate with outdoor dew points +60^F? Cover the earth with plastic and close the vents if wet outside. Keep the %RH <55%RH, get a good dehumidifier if needed and it usually is. In a wet climate, you need 1 pint per 20 sq.ft. of crawlspace for <50%RH. Check epa's "Energy Star" web site for capacity and efficiency ratings.
