I'm trying to stucco my home which has old painted brick. My problem is I'm having difficulty attaching the metal tar paper and metal lath onto the brick. What is the recommended method to doing this? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
PS I have tried masonry nails with a washer attached, but I'm worried about the stability of this into the old brick.
