The only way I know to make a repair is if the hole is small enough, caulk it with a similar colored silicon caulk. The other solution is to replace the damaged section of siding with a new one of the same type/color. If the damage is in a very visible location, you might consider swaping siding from a less noticable spot (if you can't purchase a single matching piece).
