Had a Wagner, they don't work well for great details like shutters, too much paint. The other problem is an air type sprayer, less paint, but tends to give a lot of overspray.

If you plan to remove the shutters to paint them and can handle overspray, use an air type sprayer.

If you plan to leave the shutters on, cancel the sprayer plan and get your brush out.

If you want to try the power painter with the shutters off, I'd strongly, strongly recommend spraying with the hose in the bottom of a 1 gallon paint can, the power painters fail miserably when you try to paint slightly off a perfect vertical hold, and when the paint gets low in the canisters provided. I personally won't use them at all because of a couple of times when I went off vertical, or got down to 1/4 full, they shot gobs of paint all over my detail work, very upsetting.
