We are buying a smoker's house that has heavily textured cathedral ceilings. If surfaces are to be washed before primed, how do we handle these?
We are thinking of using BINS or Kilz, but are concerned about the outgassing from such an extensive use of strong solvents (young children).
Are we better off scraping the texture off or is that going to reveal more trouble? Thanks!
