Pine flooring Posted by Henry in MI on October 7th, 2003 05:08 PM In reply to pine flloring by Brian DePersis on October 7th, 2003 08:06 AM [Go to top of thread]
Brian, if you can't "steal" enough from a closet floor or similar location, you can sure have it cut. You should be able to go to a millwork house and have it cut, if you can't cut it yourself. The wood might not be the greatest, but you also might be able to get suitable out of 4x4, 2x6, or similar wood sizes from a lumber yard or home center. There are a LOT of sources out there and things like the router bits to cut tongue and groove joints are extremely common for woodworkers.
I don't know where you are, and probably would not be able to help much with sources in YOUR area anyway, but, hopefully, there are some suggestions you can use for your search in your area. In this area, we have sources for about any kind of wood you can imagine. I'll bet that you have them also. Start with your phone book.
