You aren't giving us much to go on. I'm guessing that is it a sectional door with torsion springs over the top of the door. If that is the case, you better call a pro. You can't just "recoil" a broken spring. It has to be replaced, and it has to be replaced with the correct size spring. There are several things you need to know about doing that, but the most important thing is that it is dangerous and should be done by a pro.
Same story if the spring has unwound if the cable snapped.
