I would like to see the answer too Posted by Johnny on October 12th, 2003 03:31 PM In reply to laminate floor is bowing by Jack on September 29th, 2003 11:00 PM [Go to top of thread]
I have a similar problem and have tried what you are asking, but it only helped a little. My problem is that the area that is buckling is in the middle of a very large area, and is complicated by many odd angles - right in the center.
I have cut on extra room at the ends of the house, on top of what was already done. I guess becuase it is a new home, things are shifting a lot, and the original, and new (larger) expansion openings have become pretty tight. Regardless, I still have buckling in the center. I have not cut there either becuase of ugliness, but I bet that would fix everying. If it didn't, and I cut it, that would be unfortunate. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
