My house has plaster walls and at least 40 years ago the walls were panelled. I have remove the panelling and am left with an adhesive that is dark brown and spread with a 1/8 inch notch trowel. The adhesive is sandable but do not want to create the dust. Is there a product I can put on the walls (like a paint remover) to help scrape this off? Thanks!
