please tell me how to repair an area where a burning piece of wood popped out from the stove and melted the carpet.. it is about 2x2 inches and has melted right down to the backing of the carpet. i don't have extra carpet that matches this and don't want to have to replace the whole carpet, just the hole in the carpet.
