each plumbing fixture has a "trap" in the dwv line, a u-shaped downward bend in the line, this holds water as a plug to block gasses traveling back up the line. one or more of yours is apparently not working. a small leak can drain the trap , letting gasses pass. or the system may not be vented properly, or the vent may be blocked. this could cause waste water to suction the trap water along with it and unblock the gasses. check your traps and vents, its important. those gasses not only smell bad, they are flammable and toxic
