My daughter got super glue on our brand new counter top. I tried everything on a sample piece of formica-mineral spirits, gasoline, paintremover and anything I had in the garage.Nothing worked. It was a large spot 3x4inches.I lightly sanded the glue and got the rough spots off. Then I went to Wal-mart paint center an got a can of 100% acetone.I first tried it on the sample one I had. Then I tried it on our counter top.At first I did not think it was going to work, but I kept rubbing a small spot with a soft rag and acetone. I finally saw the glue desolve.I worked at it for 20 min.It is all off, but in sun light I can see where it had been. I have to bend down to look for it,It's not easly seen.P.S. My daughter was grounded and band from super glue forever. If this helps someone please let me know.
