I am trying to connect a dimmer switch but have this problem. The dimmer has a green (ground), red, yellow and also a black wire. The box I am connecting to has two standard sheathed electrical cable leads each containing a black, white and a ground. When I opened the switch the box had the two blacks into the switch with the two whites and the two grounds twisted together? I put the black to the black, the white to white and the coppper to copper and nothing to the yellow (as instructions indicated) with no luck. PLEASE HELP!!!! MY WIFE IS NAGGING ME INTO THE DIRT!
Thanks very much!!!
