Ours didn't have instructions either! I elected not to attach it to the dresser. It was so heavy that I decided to just rest it on the dresser and then connect a wire on the back of the mirror to a secure nail in the wall. Of course, don't move the dresser without taking down the mirror first!
I assume you are placing the dresser against the wall.
