Currently our basement walls are covered with styrafoam. The styrafoam was glued directly to the cement block. We would like to finish the walls so they can be painted white. Is there a product available that we can put directly on the styrafoam or do we need to put up some type of studding? Also is there any reason to add a vapor barrier over the styrafoam?
