Harbor Freight is great for some things

If you are careful with what you buy, and have a store near you (so that you can return a dud), Harbor Freight is a great way to get some hand tools at a fraction of the price. I would stay away from most of their power tools.
I recommend their: chisels, carbide scrapers, drill bits, carbide router bits (an excellent buy--especially when on sale)- I've done an awful lot of routing and they hold up VERY well, their 14" BAND SAW (when on sale, about half the price of others) is great for occasional sawing, PIPE CLAMPS--very cheap and they work great,..
It isn't well known, but Harbor Freight honors a lifetime guarantee on their HAND TOOLS!!! Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
