Carpet or laminate wood on concrete require maintaining less than 50%RH (relative humidity) to avoid mold/mildew growth under the carpet/wood from condensation of moisture from the air on the concrete. In green grass climates, suggest 1 pint of dehumidification per sq.ft. of concrete floor.
