I currently have a new home underconstruction and my builder wants to use greenguard sheathing on parts of my house. He advises that it would help reduce my heating cost. I'am concerned due to the fact that OSB to me would make my home a little stronger. I realize that the greenguard would save me some money, but I've only seen this product used on low cost spec homes. What are the pros and cons of using greenguard vs. osb.
