We plan to remodel our kitchen this winter, and we're looking into different kinds of countertops. I want to make sure it's durable, doesn't scratch/cut easily (my husband has a nasty habit of not using the cutting board), and won't stain easily. We really like the look of the stone countertops like marble or granite, but we don't know much about them and our budget is limited. Can you give me some recommendations?
